What’s more romantic than getting married in Rajasthan, the land of kings?

Marriage is one of the most sacred ceremonies in India. Each region of India has its own customs, some weddings take place on one day and others up to five days as is the case in Rajasthan.  Marriage in India includes many codified rituals; for the Hindu wedding for instance, one can begin the ceremonies only after performing the ‘Ganesha puja’.  This ritual invokes Ganesha, the elephant-headed god who symbolises wisdom and good fortune. Henna designs (mehendi) on the hands and feet of the bride and groom or the haldi (turmeric) ritual are also an integral part of the pre-wedding ceremonies.

We propose to take charge of the complete organisation of your Indian wedding, including Hindu or Muslim ceremonies (henna, haldi, sangeet …), the banquet and all adjoining services such as the tailor, beauty care or wedding photography.  The wedding will be celebrated in an old Haveli (mansion) which is located in the Shekhawati region of Rajasthan, known as the open-air art gallery of India because of its sumptuous frescoes adorning the ancient mansions.
