Day 1

Delhi > Agra (4h)

Our driver will pick you up in Delhi. Head to Agra. Upon arrival, check into your Boutique hotel

Persian wonders

The first day is a journey into the opulence of the Mughal Empire, revealing its architectural gems.

Morning (Sunrise): The Taj Mahal We will begin our tour before dawn to capture the magic of sunrise over the Taj Mahal. This early morning visit is crucial to avoid the crowds and savor the tranquility of the place. Accompanied by an expert English-speaking guide, we will discover the fascinating stories, hidden symbols, and architectural feats of this mausoleum dedicated to eternal love.

Return to the hotel and breakfast

Late morning: Agra Fort, the imperial residence. After the excitement of the Taj Mahal, we will head to Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This mighty red sandstone fort was the heart of Mughal power, a true city within a city.

Afternoon: Itimad-ud-Daulah (Baby Taj), Akbar's Tomb & Mehtab Bagh. The afternoon will begin with a visit to the tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, often called the "Baby Taj" for its elegance and pioneering inlay techniques.

We will then travel about ten kilometers to admire Akbar's Tomb, a dazzling architectural masterpiece from the Mughal era, famous for its harmonious and unique blend of Hindu, Islamic, and Persian styles, beautifully rendered in red sandstone and pristine white marble.

We will then cross the Yamuna River to reach the Mehtab Bagh (Moonlight Garden) where we will enjoy the view of the Taj Mahal at sunset.

Craftsmanship & Heritage Walk

The second day is a sensory exploration of Agra's ancestral craftsmanship and daily bustle.

Morning: Craft Workshops Dive into the creative soul of Agra by visiting local workshops. The city is world-renowned for its traditional arts: marble marquetry and sumptuous Zardozi embroidery, where gold and silver threads are meticulously stitched onto precious fabrics.

Rural Agra & Exclusive High Tea with a view on the Taj Mahal

The final day is an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, inviting you to discover rural life, culminating in a unique sunset experience.

We leave the hustle and bustle of the city to explore the peaceful rural villages surrounding the Taj Mahal. This experience offers a rare glimpse into the daily lives of the locals, local agriculture, and traditions.
