We will drop off our bags at a guesthouse in Naranag, a serene hamlet of a few inhabitants, built on the left bank of the Wangath River. The village, perched at an altitude of 2,128 m, was founded by Gujjars (nomadic shepherds) from Gujarat (northwest India) who migrated to the foothills of the Himalayas.*
You will stay in a homestay, offering basic yet authentic comfort, with organic local dishes and the gentle murmur of the river to lull you to sleep.
