Day 1

Delhi-Alwar

Namaskar, Welcome to India! We welcome you to Delhi and head to Alwar in Rajasthan, a little-known destination.

You will stay in Dadhikar, in a delicately restored 9th-10th century fort nestled in the hills of the Aravalli Mountains. A true paradise for lovers of wild nature.
Day 2

Visit of Alwar & surroundings

A day dedicated to the city of Alwar. We will begin with the Bala Kila (Nikumbh Mahal), a fort built by Alghu Rai Nikumbh in 1049 CE, perched on the most prominent hill in the Aravalli Range.

We will continue to the City Palace, a jewel of Rajput architecture with a pond bordered by ghats and wonderfully symmetrical pavilions. Nearby, we will also visit the cenotaphs built in memory of the ruler of Alwar, Maharaja Bakhtawar Singh, and his queen, Rani Moosi.

On the way back, we will stop at the Hope Circus, a stunning circular structure. At its summit, there is a temple dedicated to Shiva, which offers breathtaking views of the entire city of Alwar. Overnight at Dadhikar Fort
Day 3

Alwar - Samode

Heading to Samode, a royal village in a beautiful rural setting. You will stay at Samode Palace, a splendid example of royal Rajput architecture, combining the best of Indian and Mughal styles. The 475-year-old palace is a celebration of the senses, enhanced by contemporary luxury. We will leave you to discover the beauty of the hotel, guided by one of the hotel's butlers. Day 4

Samode

A relaxing day exploring the royal village. After passing through the palace gates, you can stroll through the cobbled streets of the Samode village, stopping at the small shops of the resin bracelet maker (chouria), the fabric merchant, or the gemstone expert. As you pass by, you'll notice the architecture of the mansions adorned with abundant colorful frescoes, reminiscent of the Shekhawati region, which will be our destination the next day. Day 5

Samode - Mandawa (Shekhawati)

We depart for the Shekhawati region, known as the "open-air art gallery" due to the sumptuous frescoes adorning the region's mansions (Havelis). Arrival in the late afternoon and check-in at the 4-star Vivaana Hotel, a meticulously restored 19th-century haveli blending Rajasthan's cultural heritage with contemporary decor.
Day 6

Mandawa - Nawalgarh - Dundlod - Mandawa

Early in the morning (around 7:00 a.m.), our guide will visit a tie-dye workshop in Nawalgarh, a regional specialty.

After breakfast, we will begin our tour of Nawalgarh with the Podar haveli, a masterpiece in itself, adorned with no fewer than 750 frescoes.

*

We will continue with visits to the Morarka haveli and the Bansidhar Bhagat haveli, two other masterpieces in the city.

*

We will then head to Dundlod, known for its Shivgardh Fort, built under the Rajput Thikana dynasty in the 18th century, and its beautiful havelis.

*

One kilometer away, we will discover the Fort's stables and its Marwari horses whose ears turn inward, a unique feature in the world. The owner, Mallyka Singh Dundlod, will accompany you on this tour. Return to Mandawa in the afternoon
Day 7

Mandawa - Fatehpur - Bikaner

Today, we depart for Bikaner, the Red City of Rajasthan. En route, we will stop in Fatehpur to visit more havelis.

Arrival in the late afternoon at the 4-star Narendra Bhawan Hotel. Free time to explore your hotel, decorated with mementos from the travels of Narendra Singhji, the last reigning Maharaja of Bikaner. The century-old haveli, made of finely carved red sandstone, typical of the city, is influenced by various styles, notably the nascent Art Deco movement. Overnight at the 4-star Narendra Bhawan Hotel
Day 8

Visite de Bikaner

Day dedicated to visiting Bikaner. After breakfast, we will visit the Bikaner Fort, which may not look like much from the outside, but is nevertheless one of the most majestic in Rajasthan. The refinement of the interior is astonishing.

With a guide, you will then stroll through the bazaars of the old town. Its narrow streets are lined with magnificent havelis intricately carved from red sandstone. The most famous are those belonging to the same Jain family, the "Rampurias".

In the afternoon, we will visit the famous "rat temple", 30 km from Bikaner, dedicated to the goddess Durga. It is said that there are more than 20,000 of these rodents living in the temple. Worshippers come to offer them prasad (blessed food) because these rats are considered sacred. Overnight in Bikaner at the 4* Narendra Bhawan Hotel
Day 9

Bikaner - Jaisalmer

Departure for the Golden City of Rajasthan. We will reach Jaisalmer in the afternoon. This city is a diadem of gold and sand, gracefully set on the arid lands of the Thar Desert. It takes its name from the color of the yellow sandstone with which the entire city is built. This characteristic, along with its breathtakingly refined architecture, gives this desert city a unique charm and atmosphere.

You will be staying at the Mandir Palace, a 4-star hotel whose foundation stone was laid over two centuries ago by Maharawal Moolrajji. The palace is renowned for its architecture, which combines Indian and Persian styles brought to Jaisalmer by the camel caravans of the Silk Road. Raj Kumar Jitendra Singh, the heir to this dynasty, transformed this palace into a first-class boutique hotel.

Day 10

Jaisalmer

After breakfast, visit the Jaisalmer Fort, its palace, and its beautiful Jain temples.

In the lower town, we will admire the three main havelis (mansions) finely carved from yellow sandstone.

We will then take the time to stroll through the bazaars of the golden city.

Day 11

Jaisalmer - Désert du Thar

After enjoying Jaisalmer a little more, we'll head out on a desert safari and visit several typical villages inhabited by different communities. You'll stay in luxury tents in the Thar Desert. You'll end your day with dinner in the dunes at sunset. Overnight at the 4* resort  
Day 12

Jaisalmer - Jodhpur

We now depart for Jodhpur, the blue city of Rajasthan. You will be staying at the 4-star Ajit Bhawan, a 1927 ancestral home, once the residence of the Prime Minister and the younger brother of the Maharaja of Jodhpur.
Day 13

Visit Jodhpur, the blue city of Rajasthan

After breakfast, accompanied by a cultural guide, you will embark on a fascinating stroll through the oldest part of the Blue City. You can also stroll through the bustling bazaars of the old town.

In the afternoon, you will visit Meharangarh, undoubtedly one of the most beautiful forts in Rajasthan. It has, perhaps for this reason, been nicknamed the "magnificent fort." Imposing yet delicate, it towers 120 meters above the city.

You will then descend to the Jaswant Thada Mausoleum and then to the imposing Umaid Bhawan Palace, the current residence of the Maharaja of Jodhpur and his family. It is one of the largest private residences in the world. Overnight in Jodhpur at the 4* Ajit Bhawan,
Day 14

Jodhpur - Rawla Bisalpur (Jawai Bandh)

We leave the Blue City for a small gem nestled among the rocks of the Aravalli Mountains in the Jawai region.

You will be staying at the Rawla Bisalpur Fort, whose history dates back to the 15th century. The Bisalpur family is a cadet branch of the Sirohi princely state. The fort was rebuilt in the 17th century, with further modernization in 1938. It is a classic example of Indo-European architecture. The heirs of this place will welcome you in person and share anecdotes about their family home with you.    
Day 15

Safari & Village Walk

In the morning, you will set off by jeep through the bumpy roads of the Aravallis in search of the elusive Indian leopard.

You will then take a walk in the village of Rawla Bisalpur accompanied by a member of the fort's family. You will be able to observe Rabari shepherds, weavers, and iron smiths. The walk will end at the Ashapura Mataji Temple, seat of the high priest of the Rabari community. Overnight at Rawla Bisalpur Fort    
Day 16

Rawla Bisalpur - Udaipur via Sirohi

We depart for Udaipur, the romantic city of lakes. On the way, we will stop at the magnificent Sarneshwar Mahadev Temple, which is historically linked to the Rabari people. Arrival in Udaipur during the day.

You will stay in the Haveli Kankarwa Haveli, located on the banks of Lake Pichola. Kankarwa is an ancient mansion in the heart of the old city that has belonged to the family of the same name for 180 years. The heir to this Haveli will personally welcome you at the reception.    
Day 17

Visite d'Udaipur

We will spend the entire morning visiting (on foot) the historic center of Udaipur: the City Palace, the Jagdish Temple, the Bagore ki Haveli Museum, and then we will visit the Sahasra Bahu Temples in Nagda, Rajasthan, a pair of Hindu shrines dating from the late 10th century and dedicated to Veerabadra (Vishnu). At the end of the day, we will take a boat trip on Lake Pichola to admire the City Palace, the Lake Palace, and the Jagmandir Palace at sunset. Overnight in Udaipur at the Haveli Kankarwa Haveli.
Day 18

Udaipur - Chittorgarh

After wandering a little further through the streets of old Udaipur, depart for Chittorgarh, a historic fort 2 hours from Udaipur.

You will stay in the Bijaipur Castle located between the Vindhyanchal Hills at an altitude of 600 meters. This 16th-century residence, surrounded by fortified walls, was converted into a hotel in 1991 by the original family, who run it not as a hotel, but as a home where guests can experience traditional Rajput hospitality.
Day 19

Chittor & surroundings

We set off to explore the surroundings of the castle, starting with the city of Chittorgarh, home to the largest fort in all of India. It covers an area of 2,800 hectares. Built in the 18th century on a 10-km-long hill, the fort is one of the most imposing defensive structures of the ancient kingdom of Mewar. It contains numerous monuments commemorating poignant moments in Rajasthan's history.

We will then make two stops at Bijoliyan and Menal, towns renowned for their ancient temples, as well as at Pangarh Fort and its pink lotus lake.

In the surrounding villages, you can also discover carpet weavers and wooden toy makers.   Overnight at Bijaipur Castle  
Day 20

Chittorgarh - Jaipur

We depart for Jaipur, the Pink City, for our final stop on this charming journey.

You will stay at the Royal Heritage Haveli, a nearly 250-year-old mansion, built in the 18th century by Maharana Madho Singh Ji. Now owned by Maharaj Jai Singh of Jaipur, the "Royal Heritage Haveli" is run by his niece Angelique and her husband Pradeep. Known for their warm hospitality, Angelique and Pradeep offer each guest a personalized and authentic taste of the bygone era of the Maharajas' lifestyle.  
Day 21

Visit of Jaipur

After lunch, our guide will pick you up for a heritage walk in the Pink City. You will begin the tour with the Iswari Swarga Sal Minaret, built in 1740 by Maharaja Iswari, which offers a 360-degree view of Jaipur, with the Hawa Mahal and City Palace in the foreground and the imposing Nahargarh Fort in the distance.

We will then visit the City Palace, the Janta Mantar (UNESCO-listed astronomical observatory), the Hawa Mahal, and the Radha Govinda Mandir, the city's royal temple.

Between the various visits, you can stroll at leisure through the bazaars of the old city, including the Johari Bazaar (precious stones) or the Tripolia Bazaar (Indian bracelets). Overnight at the Royal Heritage Haveli
Day 22

Jaipur - Amber - Jaipur

We depart for Amber, the ancient capital of the Maharajas of Jaipur. En route, we will pause to admire the Water Palace (Jai Mahal), which appears to float on the lake.

We will begin our visit with Amber Palace, a true architectural gem, built in 1592 by Maharaja Man Singh I. Below Amber Palace, in the old city, are several temples, the most important of which is the Sri Jagat Shiromaniji. Built in a palatial style, it features a splendid torana (arch) at the entrance flanked by two elephants intricately carved from white marble. This temple is also associated with the poet-saint Mirabai.

At the foot of the Sri Jagat Shiromaniji Temple, we will discover the Panna Meena Ka Kund, a beautiful example of a stepwell, with perfect geometry.

Back to Jaipur, we will stop at Nahargarh Fort, built in 1734 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. It stands proudly on the Aravalli Hills overlooking the Pink City. Overnight at the Royal Heritage Haveli
Day 23

Jaipur - Delhi

After this beautiful stop in the Pink City, we will slowly return to Delhi and drop you off at your hotel. Namakar, we look forward to seeing you again for another trip.
