Then, we have to ascend a 1.5km zigzag path. We leave the pine tree forest and get an amazing view of the whole Bhaba valley. * We camp at Kara (3600m) by the riverside. We reach the Pin River and cross it, removing our footwear. There is then a gradual 5km descent through moraine and scree all the way to the Magroongchey campsite (4200m). * NB: From the Pass we have two options to get down to the base. Either we can take the proper trekking path or we can have some fun! We can go down by sliding, using your sack cover/rain coat or even a simple plastic bag. At the base, we take some rest, have our lunch, and then start to trek down to the Magrooongchey riverside camp.
