Maharashtra comprises the most industrialised region of India, the Mumbai-Pune belt. However, what we know less is that the state is also home to beautiful mountain resorts, beaches stretching to infinity, and even vineyards! But the main attraction of Maharashtra is undoubtedly its cave grottoes, Elephanta, Ajanta and Ellora, which are real masterpieces in both the technical and aesthetic levels.
